As the humanitarian crisis continues to put millions at risk of injury, displacement, and destitution, this kind gift will enable our staff and volunteers from the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement to continue meeting the most pressing priorities in Ukraine and neighbouring countries. This means delivering critical healthcare, providing safety and shelter, and empowering people with financial support to ensure that families don’t go hungry and are supported to recover in the years ahead. As the largest independent provider of support for refugees, asylum seekers, and vulnerable migrants in the UK, our British Red Cross teams are offering a range of specialist support to refugees from Ukraine, helping them navigate their new life here. Our Movement is proud to have reached over 17 million people affected by this crisis so far, and we’re keen to ensure that our response does not stop here.
