"We sincerely thank the Grace Trust for their generous funding of the Promega Maxwell RSC 48 instrument. This advanced equipment has revolutionised our workflow by automating nucleic acid extraction at our Science Technology Platform. Compared to our previous method, which was labour-intensive and allowed us to process only 12 samples per hour, we can now efficiently extract 48 samples in just 45 minutes. This significant increase in throughput enables us to deliver faster, more reliable quality control testing for cell lines, thereby enhancing support for the scientific community and upholding the high research standards at the Crick." – Corina Kohler, Deputy Head of Cell Services
