Children's Heartbeat Trust

"On behalf of everyone at Children’s Heartbeat Trust, I would like to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to The Grace Trust for their grant of £5,000, to enable us to continue to support children and young people born with congenital heart disease (CHD) in Northern Ireland. This grant will be used specifically towards the upkeep and running of our Respite Caravans and allow us to facilitate a respite break for 31 families. This enables them to have the much-needed time they need to recharge, reconnect and recuperate from the daily struggles and challenges that come with having a child diagnosed with life limiting congenital heart disease (CHD). We see the important of having quality time together as a family unit away from a hospital environment and everyday work/life struggles. A place to feel safe, secure and reconnect as a family and to make those all-important memories which are so precious. I was delighted to welcome Richard and Chris from The Grace Trust to be presented with the funds and hear of their incredible work supporting so many charitable organisations.
