"I am writing to confirm we have taken receipt of your payment of £4,000 which will enable our charity Sophie’s Legacy to supply as many as 1,142 decent, nutritious meals to parents of children who are being cared for on the children’s wards of the hospitals we are currently working with across the Southeast of England. These 'Cook' ready meals meals would be provided over a period of approximately two months. Hospitals where we will deliver this service to includes the Southampton General hospital including the children’s intensive care, children’s cardiac and the neonatal intensive care wards, the Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth, the Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester, and to the children's cancer ward at the Royal Marsden Hospital in Sutton.
